Many years ago I noticed the pure doctrines of the Church[1] were undergoing changes. I hoped the negative trend would reverse itself, but instead it got progressively worse. Out of love for the Church and the truth of God’s Word, I documented some of my observations in an essay, “Be Zealous and Repent.”
“Out of love for the truth and the desire to bring it to light…”
Dr. Martin Luther (1517), The Ninety-Five Theses
Lacking any formal process within the Church to address doctrinal issues, I sent a letter to the chairman of my congregation[2] to request the issues within the essay be addressed by the leadership of the congregation.
My hope and prayer is that all the necessary corrections will be made in love according to the pure doctrines as revealed through God’s written Word
“Let all things be done decently and in order.”
(1 Corinthians 14:40)
