The Songs & Hymns of Believers red book has grown over the years, getting heavy, and a bit unwieldy to casually carry around.
Several years ago as PDAs, smart phones, and eReader devices were developed and became popular, new electronic book formats were developed to support the reading of books across multiple electronic platforms.
I thought it would be convenient to digitize the song book so I could always have it with me on my phone or eReader instead of trying to carry the ever-expanding physical song book.
After some research[1] I focused on digitizing the song book into the ePub format. (Special thanks to Greg Isola for providing the base text file content!) Utilities are available now to convert to other formats too, such as those compatible with Kindle apps and devices.
The Songs & Hymns of Believers is available in two eBook formats. You may freely download, use, and share them. These formats should be usable in most of the eReader apps and devices that are readily available. If you need another format for your eReader just let me know.
Also, if you find typos or formatting issues please let me know so I can fix them.
[1] I’m not on Facebook, so I never heard that someone else had already been working on an iOS application for the Songs & Hymns of Believers.
