Welcome to the “Worthless Fellow” weblog!

Everyone is welcome to register, login, and reply to the article posts found in this weblog.

If you need some guidance exploring this weblog, here are a few suggestions on where to begin:

  • If you are interested primarily in the request and response of the submission I made to church leadership in 2019, then the article post “Neither Safe nor Right” would be the best place to begin.
  • If you are interested in why this weblog exists, then the “About” page would be a good place to begin.
  • If you are interested in a full chronological context of some of issues I have observed, then a good place to begin would be the oldest article post “Fruits of a Living Faith” and click the “Next” button to work your way forward to newer posts.

Regardless of where you begin a word of caution is in order: The truth can be painful, I know, it was painful for me to learn how the truth has been obscured by misconceptions, deceptions (2 Timothy 4:3-4), and traditions of men (Colossians 2:8). You may want to begin slowly, and proceed only as you are able (1 Corinthians 3:2-3). By the grace of God, I rediscovered the truth in a slow trickle over several years, but here it may hit you like a torrent from a fire-hose! Ultimately, the cost of the pain will be worth it because the truth leads to freedom (John 8:31-32).

“Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost […] So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple.”

(Luke 14:27…33)

In any case, please do not despair — God desires that no one perish but all come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-6). I hope that you will seek the truth, find the content here useful, and join the conversation!
